Deady is Gone; But is Islamophobia Gone From the Giuliani Campaign?

John Deady has resigned from his role in the Presidential Campaign of Rudolph Giuliani over his recent Islamophobic remarks; but questions remain about the level of anti-Muslim bigotry in the Giuliani campaign.

If you go to the website of FrontPage Magazine today, which is a project of the notorious Islamophobe David Horowtiz, you will find that along with a sleuth of anti-Muslim propaganda and hate-mongering their is an opinion piece written by none other than “Heavy Duty” Rudy himself titled” The Resilient Society” which was originally penned for the City Journal.

It is as if to say ” don’t worry, Deady may be gone, but I am still with you and I am still the man to bring the attack against the Muslims” thus keeping his street-cred with the Islamophobes.

The mere fact that FrontPage would so prominently promote the writings of Rudy on a page otherwise full of the ramblings of anonymous Islamophobes should cause great concern in the Muslim community about the candidacy of Mr. Giuliani and should give Muslim and non-Muslim voters something to think about when heading to the polls this week in Iowa.
